26000 Bricks for Africa.... EVERY BRICK COUNTS

There are thousands of people in Africa diagnosed with HIV/Aids every year. We want to support everyone of these people and their friends and families too. We can only do this with your help.

This is your opportunity to be involved in developing Traditional Medicine/ Complimentary Alternative Medicine (T/CAMs) in Africa . They need 26000 bricks to build and equip each clinic and a new Homeopathic school in East Africa . The land is being purchased outside Kissi Kenya , near Lake Victoria , for the school and main teaching clinic. Other sites for clinics are being identified. Please become a brick for just £1, or, $2, or 100Kenyan shillings. click here to give .

WE CAN ALL MAKE A DIFFERENCE, THAT'S WHY YOU SHOULD GIVE

Every pound collected goes to directly to support the stated aim and objectives of 26000 Bricks for Africa. The aim is to develop T/CAMs in Africa , by Educating Africans to treat Africans, and providing the infrastructure of clinics and schools required.

To support this aim our objectives are to build and maintain clinics, develop and maintain teaching/training facilities, update and purchase appropriate equipment for T/CAM clinics, provide financial support for mobile and HIV/AIDS clinics.

There are more and more people living with HIV and Aids (PLWHAs) and there are more orphaned children of victims than ever before, and they need support. The World Health Organisation (WHO) identified T/CAM as effective and affordable, in the treatment of many diseases.

We are fully supportive of the concepts of Trade Not Aid, this is only the viable strategy for economic and social development. We believe that aid handouts have lead to a crippling dependency that is neither beneficial or sustainable. By supporting 26000 Bricks you can share our vision of economic and social empowerment that will bring benefits to all.

The development of the teaching centers and clinic partnerships will enable Africans to teach Africans, and for Africans to treat Africans. The cost of attendance for a patient is not free, but is set at a reasonable price to reflect local conditions. The profits enable the clinicians working together as a partnership on a long term basis to purchase the facilities. Any free clinics are supported by other funding sources, which pay for these special clinics.

Current special clinics around Kissi are: 1. Kendu Bay near lake Victoria (HIV/AIDS), 2. "Able to serve God School" and Orphanage near Kissi (Surviving children of HIV/AIDS parents), 3. Kissi Evangelical Church. We offer you an opportunity to see the work before or after donating, with our associate project Abha Light Foundation (see the visiting option above).
